Courtney Halip

As the oldest of five kids and twenty-six first cousins, Courtney has been surrounded by children her whole life. Since she can remember, she's always had a camera in hand—documenting the world and the people around her. When her son and daughter were born, she realized that capturing images of newborns and children was what she set out to do. 

After building a successful career in Creative & Marketing where she developed a keen eye for detail and aesthetic, she understands the importance of capturing soulful and beautiful imagery that stand the test of time.

Courtney only uses natural light and never any kitschy newborn props. She loves black and white and has a journalistic approach to photography. Courtney prefers natural, unposed photographs that capture the simple and happy moments of family life.
